Medication Administration
The new Medication Administration course has been designed to be a user friendly experience that features:
- closed captioning
- plainer language
- interactive case studies
- presentations by medical professionals
- new and updated resources
- current topics and best practices for medication administration
The course has been developed by Registered Nurses, in good standing with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). It meets the accreditation standards for the Alberta Council of Disability Services (Creating Excellence Together) and the Canadian Accreditation Council.
Vecova has provided Medication Administration training for more than 20 years. In recent years, there has been a transition to community based support of individuals with more complex care needs. Vecova has responded to the increasing demand for quality, affordable and accessible Medication Administration training that builds the capacity of support workers to safely and confidently administer medications.
